It is a method of coating both sides at the same time, increasing the coating speed, or rapidly widening the coating width. Coating both sides at the same time faced difficulties from solving the structural problem that the roller supporting the electrode should not be brought into contact at the same time. The method of boosting using air, maximizing the tension of the foil, and supporting the side were applied, but all did not achieve results. In order to apply the other two improvements, various experiments and improvements were applied, and the current coating facilities became rapidly more productive. The shape and structure of the slot die during #coating are very important units to form a coating pattern with a uniform thickness. It is an indicator of the facility manufacturer's skills. There is a slight difference in structure from the unit that adjusts the coating thickness, and this is difficult to judge by a simple design. The structure and method of the drying furnace vary from company to company, but the principle is the same. Increasing the drying performance of the drying furnace does not necessarily mean that it is good. Rapid drying can cause cracks on the electrode surface, and irregular temperature control can cause poor electrode adhesion. However, if it is dried too slowly, it is wound around the reel without completely drying, and if it is injected into the press in that state, a layer is formed and cracks may occur in the electrode. And drying furnaces account for a significant portion of the facility's manufacturing price. If you purchase unverified facilities to reduce facility investment costs, you will face difficulties due to problems in the performance of the drying furnace and the quality of the parts. (In this case, the facility cannot be repaired or replaced, which will deal a heavy blow to production.) Solvent generated during coating is a dangerous substance that cannot be released into the atmosphere. So, we take the method of recovering solvent or burning gas. The recovered solvent will be reused as a product with purity of 99.99% or more after the purification process.
