Today, I will look forward to battery manufacturing technology continually. Today's topic is # #manufacturing #electrodes. The powder of the cathode material, anode material, and binder that you know is very small and very tricky from the stage of adding the powder. While the raw material of the powder is being injected in the form of bulk, various devices exist in facilities so that the foreign materials and the injected powder are mixed in a quantitative amount, and a lot of attention is needed in the work plan of workers. It is difficult to manage the exact content and ingredients until this powder is mixed. Most of them are carried out through facilities composed of piping-type utilities, and there have been many evolutionations until they were designed and operated as a system. In particular, the higher the capacity for mass production, the more difficult this condition becomes. When most companies use lab-level facilities, they do not find this process difficulty. And, these problems are understood as easily , because lab researchers are not of interest to battery manufacturing mostly. However, if the company that produces the battery for the first time fails to determine the cause of the abnormality in battery performance during the b-sample and c-sample stages, it is a process that must be identified. Mixing of powder should be considered more. The powder that is not exactly stirred degrades the performance of coating, and an optimal combination of stirring time and content of NMC & DI in accordance with the combination of powders should be found through several does. It is not possible to stir at once, but it has developed and changed through experiments and know-how for a long time. Next is coating. It can be said to be the flower of the electrode process. Defenitly It can be said that the performance of coating can affect the entire process. Coating's uniformity of thickness and stable adhesive performance are the results of the creation of a combination of various coater units. Various components and systems are combined and operated, and setting system conditions varies depending on the design conditions of the electrode coating pattern. Coating's performance is close to overall productivity, so advanced battery manufacturers have completed quality through many experiments with reliable vendors.
