The bicell welded with the tab is transferred to the process of putting it into the aluminum pouch housing. The third process is the creation of pouch housing and assembly of bicells. In order to make Pouch housing, the film is supplied in the form of a roll. This film has a thin aluminum foil inside and plastic coated on both sides. The structure of this film and the molding performance of the film have an important influence on the fabrication of the entire process and the robustness of the pouch cell. Therefore, price should not be simply judged as an important factor in the selection of film suppliers, but it should be verified through various performance evaluations of moldability. Film supply and precision control of facility are important factors in evaluating the performance of facilities and become an important criterion in productivity judgment in relation to production speed. Molds and molding know-how to mold with the supplied film into the housing pocket are also important factors in facility selection. Bicell is inserted into the housing pocket supplied in this way and heat is applied to the two sides to cover it. The fourth process is electrolyte filling. Electrolyte filling is the most important thing in cells of all structures, so I will explain the details separately later. First of all, I'll explain it briefly. After opening the open part of the pouch housing, put nozzle that supplies electrolyte in it. At this time, if the injection pressure and direction are not controlled, electrolyte splashes, scattering, and air bubbles are generated inside, adversely affecting the bicell impregnation. In addition, there is a variation in the injected amount, which affects the performance of the cell. If the amount is excessive, it affects the assembled shape of the pouch, and if the amount is small, it is not evenly dispersed in the electrode, which interferes with the movement of charges. Vacuum is essential to increase wetting performance during filling. Due to the difference between the structure of some cells and the separator, aging or vacuum process may added & changed. However, all processes are related to productivity and facility investment costs, so we cannot blindly add processes. The finally assembled cell is finally sealed and cut off the outside of the film and transferred to the formation tray for the formation process.
